We have strawberries at Sunny Ridge from November to April each year. You can also Pick Your Own strawberries during this time.

How many strawberry varieties does Sunny Ridge grow?

There are hundreds of strawberry varieites, with new ones being developed all the time. Currently, Sunny Ridge grows Cal Giant, Albion and San Andreas strawberries.

Which variety is the best?

Flavour preferences are quite personal, so we recommend you try a range of varieties while in season and decide for yourself which is the best!

The Albion variety is a dark red, conically shaped berry with firm flesh, a strong aroma and outstanding, sweet flavour.

Cal Giant Strawberries are coloured pinkish/red. They are SUPER Sweet with plenty of juice and a soft, melting flesh.

San Andreas Strawberries are similar to the Albion variety.
